Q. My daugter is 21 months old and I have plan to break her when she turns 2 years old. So does anyone have any suggestions for me?
Just to let you guys know she didn't like it at first till she started teething and she didn't start teething till she was 1 years old. Right now most of the time I try not to let her have it unless she is getting ready for bed or naps and if she hurts herself but sometimes she will find were she put one and she will suck on it till I can get it way from her.

Tell them that when you turn two the pacifier fairy comes and takes the pacifiers from all the big kids to give to the babies that need them. Then after her bday round up all the pacifiers and leave a "special gift" from the fairy thanking her for being such a big girl. Then don't look back, don't cave, dont falter, endure the screaming and restless nights for a week or two and things should be fine.

My little girl is turning 1 on saturday and I am out of ideas on what to buy her. She is the first granddaughter on both sides of the family so she was spoiled on christmas. I want to get her something that is educational as well as fun. Any ideas?

The best gift you can give your daughter is starting her an education fund or a savings bond that she can use later in life.
She just got so much stuff for xmas, she probably doesn't actually "need" anything. She's not going to know if you actually give her a big expensive toy or not and believe me, she'll be getting lots more from friends and relatives.
So, you can put in a contribution and buy her some tub toys that's she'll LOVE and then each month you can put a small contribution in and make sure you tell your family because they'll be more than happy to add to it too!!!!
