I want to make something for my girlfriend our limit is around $30-50 or so and i just found out she was making me something. I want to make something rather than just buy something but I will take all ideas. she is 18 and fav color is purple she loves it and likes to go shopping, snowboarding, scrapbooking, hang out with friends i mean even all that stuff she doesn't really do it that much but i had an idea of making a blanket. the one where you buy to sheets of fabric and tie them together. how much would that cost? i was gonna do a dark purple and then some print on the other side but all i have found were some really dumb and childish ones. what would be good? also i saw in her closet that she has one and its like a pinkish and white color. so thats why idk if i should anymore. what are some good easy gifts i could make or buy for her I want it to be awesome. she also likes painting nails and nice clothes and jewelry and perfume and all that stuff but i wouldn't know the exact style she would like its a hit or miss with that stuff

How long have you been dating? If her blanket is in the closet, maybe she never uses it?
I would go on Google and look up crafts. There are a lot of cute homemade crafts. Do you two have cute pictures together? Maybe make a scrapbook page or a gift card to her favorite store.
Cute & simple idea: Get a mason jar, tie a bow or ribbon on it. Put little heart or snowflake shaped pieces (you can buy at craft store or dollar store) of paper in it on cute memories or sayings like "The first time I saw you smile, I knew you were the one for me." Or maybe little things like "This snowflake entitles you to one date night wherever you want to go, with this guy! P.S. He thinks you're really cute! I love you! :)" I would think that is the sweetest thing ever!
Also ask her Mom or her friends if she has a Pinterest account, maybe she has one and has some stuff she wants on there!

My MIL gave us an embroidered blanket with my son's name. I absolutely love it!
Also, photo albums and frames are wonderful to have.
I just love the idea of something personalized- like a silver spoon, a cup, piggy bank, etc. These are some things I didn't get, but wish I had.
