Mom's bday is coming up, and though we are very close, our tastes are extremely different. She is so hard to shop for! In the past, i've just asked her what she wanted, and bought it for her. But this year, I would like to surprise her with something. What are some ideas for creative gifts, that moms love to get?

a gift certificate for a massage at a spa, or a day of pampering at a day spa. a nice dinner out. a gift certificate for a dance class. a photo album of you and her(and your family if you have one). think about what would make her smile. and feel good about herself.

We've decided not to do a gift exchange at Christmas to keep costs down but would like to make a gift for each person that would be special to them. Any ideas?

try printing or whatever a bunch of pictures and make a photo album. Use scrap papers that have pretty designs on them and add captions. This would be best for a friend more then your mom or dad or something. My friend liked it(: But to help you get some more ideas, try doing something they can use. Like I made the thing for my mom to hang all her jewelry on, look at things you want to get for him or her and try to make it on your own. Anything is good, if it's sentimental and hand made they'll be sure to love it. Or atleast act like they do....
