Recently my good friends gave birth to their daughter Emily. I donated my sperm to them and feel I must get a gift for the baby I helped bring into this world.
The only problem I have is I don't know what to buy. I feel items like blankets or toys would be ideal for a gift. What do you think would be a great gift?

I read this in a baby magazine, and I thought it was the perfect idea.
If you think about it, everyone will probably be getting something for the baby, but I think it would be awesome to get the soon-to-be mom a gift.
Something that will benefit her while she is pregnant, whether its a sleep pillow to help ease her strain when she is farther along, whether its an at home spa treatment type of gift, (her favorite body wash, loofa, candle, lotion, etc for those difficult days of pregnancy)
I just thought it was a great idea. The expecting mother will apreciate it father down the line. :)
Plus, with my baby shower, I had so many things for the baby, I didnt have much space to store everything! we had so so so so so many blankets, I have a whole stack my daughter hasnt even used, and shes 10 months old.
