I was invited by to a baby shower of an ex-coworker's wife (I haven't met her yet). Would about 20 dollars be appropriate for a gift?

I'm not invited to the wife of my co workers baby shower so I simply congratulated him on the new arrival and called it a day. I have my own baby and didnt/don't expect a gift from anyone that I didnt invite to my own shower. But then another co worker said she's collecting funds for a gift for this guy and his wife. It's their second baby and I did buy him a $30 gift for his first but it's getting too ridiculous with all my co workers having kids this year, it's too many gifts to buy!

Umm don't buy them anything! If they already had a baby shower with their first born! It's beyond begging when u have more than 1!
