What are your ideas for food I can prepare as a gift for a new mom and her family?

My neighbor will be coming home from the hospital with her new baby soon. I'd like to prepare some food as a gift for mom, dad, and grandma. I'm looking for low carb, low sodium ideas due to some health issues. What can I prepare that would be easy for them all to eat whenever they can? Roast a turkey breast? Some sort of low carb casserole? Healthy comfort food is what I want. Thanks!

What a lovely neighbour you are Gen, such a kind gesture.

This recipe is very similar to one I make now and again for a special gathering and I find a little of it goes a very long way, it is also adaptable as you can either add or take away certain elements of it to suit your taste.

Do you get your mom and dad a gift seperately?

What about the groomsmen family will it be a different gift?

My mom likes Belleek stuff so was thinking of getting a large frame by that company and put our photo in it, could this be for my dad too?

Your parents do NOT want a gift from you.

They want you to have a nice wedding and be happy with your new husband. Period.

Give them a big hug and tell them "Thank You. I love you both."

That's all they want.

If you want to get them a framed wedding picture, that would be the MOST that they'll be comfortable with. Do the same for your husband's parents.
