So I know that we get gifts because of the wiseman bring gifts to baby Jesus but why do we put up a Christmas tree? I always thought it was because the tree never dies just like Jesus' love

Answer
In the pre-Christian era, as the winter solstice approached and the plants died, pagans brought evergreen boughs into their homes as an act of sympathetic magic, intended to guard the life essences of the plants until spring. This custom was later appropriated by Northern Europeans and eventually it becomes the so-called Christmas tree.

what is the name of the youtube video about a modern/technology christmas advent?

mags

We watched it in school, but I forgot the name/link.
It is all modern and technology related so like joseph and mary have emails and the 3 wise men have emails and then they "follow" the star on twitter and buy their gifts for baby jesus on ebay. I thought it was hilarious does anyone know what I am talking about/ give me a link?

Answer
If you have watched a video before, there are 3 different things you can do to try and find a
video which you've previously watched -- assuming that
you haven't emptied out your cache. Not only that, you
can have those results appear either: 1) in alphabetical
order, 2) chronological order, or 3) as photo thumbnails:

-- ALPHABETICALLY (tons of results) --
highlight the URL address bar on top, then simply type
in the word "youtube''. From those results, you will see:
-- every YouTube address you typed
-- every YouTube channel you visited
-- every YouTube video you watched
but it will be ugly YouTube code like "v=Ab1Cd2eF3Gh".

-- CHRONOLOGICALLY (many results) --
simply click on your internet browser's ''History" button
or tap "CTRL" and the letter "H" on your keyboard, and
you will get a daily list of every website which you have
visited. Every YouTube video will be mixed in with all of
the different websites, but it'll actually be easier for you
to locate that particular video -- because everything will
be displayed in ''plain" English. And because each and
every YouTube video is in fact its own website, you will
also be able to see the full title of each video.

-- PHOTO THUMBNAILS (few results) --
when you're "signed-in" on YouTube, the top right of all
YouTube pages display your "username'' in a rectangle.
Click on that, and then "Favorites". On the left side will
be "History", (3 lines below the grayed "Favorites" line).
If you click that, you'll see thumbs of videos that you've
viewed while signed-in -- but only the more recent ones
(although many videos could date back to months ago).
The reason for that is because everytime you open/exit
YouTube, your history is ''semi-cleared'' and starts over.
It's worth a try, because the vid you're looking for might
be a "Related Video" of something you've already seen.

Believe it or not, you can even see that ''viewing history"
from right here within Yahoo! Answers. Simply click on
my link below, and it take you to "YOUR" VERY OWN
history. (YouTube may first ask you to ''sign in" to your
account with your username/password):
