So I was reading a question on here the other day and someone mentioned how you can make your own snow globe with a glass jar, glitter, baby oil and a small figurine. I'm SO making that as a gift for my son's day care teacher. Anyone have any similar crafty, cheap ideas like that? Looking to also make other things for the teachers assistant and the director (and possibly the other teachers there). And also some to give some family members. My son is a boy so nothing super girly please. ALL ideas are appreciated! :-)

My mom's 50th birthday is next week and so this weekend we are doing a family dinner. We usually do a bed n breakfast gift certificate for a gift but my parents just got back from a trip and they are going on another in two weeks. Does anyone have any gift ideas?
