I have no clue, what do you do at a baby shower, I will be having one soon, and I was just wondering, what did you do at yours? do you have any good suggestions? is there any sort of etiquette to follow with thank you cards for gifts? Is it good to set up a baby registry?
No I am not planning my own shower, my friend made a baby registry at Babies R us and the only person who bought her something from her list was me, I'm thinking that maybe Target would be a better because they are cheaper, or maybe it was just the attitude of her guests

My favorite idea for a baby shower is a diaper cake. Have a look. This can double as the centerpiece for the baby shower, a guessing game (have the guests guess how many diapers and what supplies the cake is made from,) and also your gift to the new mom, which saves you $$ when you're throwing a baby shower:
