my parent are celebrating 30 years of marriage. Pearls are the traditional gift, but i want a different spin on that.
Like pearl colored purse for mom and a new pearl snap shirt for dad.
But i still need more ideas. especially for mom b/c i dont want to do jewelry or clothing or accessories

My mom and dads anniversary is coming up on valentines day and my moms favorite restaurant is Panera bread. Ive heard it is kind of pricey though but i was thinking about getting them a 30 dollar gift certificate to panera bread and then a 20 dollar gift certificate to the movies as well as a offer of free babysitting of the youngest children so they can go out to a dinner and movie any night they choose. Is this a good idea or should I maybe put a little more towards it to make sure the whole meal and movie is covered? All advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That is a wonderful gift, I'm sure they'll appreciate. It depends on how old you are and if you have a full time job. Remember it's the thought that counts, and you sound like a very generous and thoughtful person. I'm sure they will bring some extra money to have a great time.
