It's my mom's birthday in in a few days and I don't have any idea what to give her. Can anyone help me? Thank you. Also she is in her 40's.

i think giving her just one gift won't be enough, if you really want to give her something special then plan for all day party invite friends if you want a party or give her a holiday trip to a place that she really likes.
