My dad is getting married this summer, and as a gift I wanted to do a painting. I've only met his fiance once, and I've grown very distant from him over the past few years. Long story short: I really don't know what to paint for them!
Any suggestions would be so very appreciated. I'm at a total loss with this one.

You can do something as simple as Bride2B said (holding hands), or, if you know how to shade in acrylics and think it's worth the trouble, you can paint your dad and future stepmom together from the back side. It doesn't have to be detail-to-detail...For example, if your dad's fiancee has brown wavy hair and your dad has black hair, you can paint them (from the back view) sitting down together, side-by-side, on the grass with your future stepmom's head on your dad's shoulder...See, all you really need to know is the color, length, and texture of their hair, shape of their head, and whatever background you want.
You can have them standing up in the rain, sitting down on a bench, whatever you want.
P.S. Please excuse my descriptions...I'm not a very good describer! /:

What is a nice inexpensive gift to get for my dad and stepmom for a wedding gift?

Well my dad and his fiance are getting married this Wednesday and invited me and my boyfriend along to go on the family trip to vegas for vacation/wedding, unfortunately we had to cancel last minute and i feel terrible. What is a nice inexpensive gift i can get them to go along with a Congrats card for when they get back? I would like it to be $25 or less since im extremely tight on money. Any ideas?
