My friend asked me to be their daughter's godmother.Its quite hard in choosing baptism baby gifts.
What are some good Baptism baby gift do you prefer that are precious but also functional and practical!?

My son's Godmother bought him a beautiful ivory plush & silk baby blanket that went great with his baptismal garment, a very nice rosary, and a really pretty picture frame that has 'Baptism' engraved in the frame with a beautiful design. Any one of those gifts I would think is a great idea.

What is the best gift you recieved at your baby shower?

I'm putting together a basket full of things like bottles, diapers, wipes etc for an expectant friend and want to know what everyone's favorite gift that they recieved. (I also plan on doing a camera and some store gift cards for formula or whatever others forgot.)

I think the most thoughtful gift I received for my shower was a silver spoon and fork set along with a Baptism outfit.
My gramma got us a really nice keepsake baby knitted blanket.
Other than that diapers and wipes were the most useful.
