What kind of gift do you give to the parents of a sick child? I'm going to visit them and their baby keeps getting worse with his illness. When I visit I wanted to give them something, but I do not know what to give. They cannot really get out much at all because of the baby. What should I give them? Any suggestions?

My younger brother and his wife had a baby born 3 months premature, who fought hard for a month and a half, but later passed on. While he was sick I sent the mom flowers and brought them food. Bringing food is always good as it relieves them from one pressure and makes sure they eat properly. You could also bring the baby some age appropriate books for the parents to read to him...

I am not sure if the book is aroound anymore, but you can get your daughter a baby doll and some thing for the baby. That way she can take care of her baby.
