What should I bring and wear to a Lutheran infant baptism?

Q. I'm a Baptist (northern), and the church I go to is very informal. We don't believe in infant baptisms, so I don't know what would be customary for me to wear or bring to one. I'd probably bring a teddy bear with a cross, or a book of bible stories, the problem is the family the baby is in isn't religious at all. They're just getting him baptized to please their parents. What would be a good present to bring? How nice should I dress? Can you explain a little about Lutheran's beliefs?

Answer
I don't know anything about Lutheran beliefs. But it would be courteous to dress nice, and bring a gift for the baby. A nice baby blanket is an appropriate gift and always appreciated. Or, you could open a savings account with some money in it for the child's college education.

If i was baptized a lutheran when i was a baby does that make me always a lutheran?

I am not religious , I'm not sure if i believe in god and i haven't been to a Lutheran place my entire life. I am just curious if i am still a lutheran or an apostate ?
Wait a second lol, How can I make a personal commitment to god if I am a baby ? Sorry, for the sarcasm but I'm naturally gifted in being sarcastic.

Answer
Baptism makes you a child of God. Confirmation makes you a Lutheran.

God made a commitment to you and chose you. Now, as an adult, you can turn away from God and deny His gift of grace. But, man with his sinful nature would not willingly choose God.
