I want to get an Xmas present from my baby to my baby's mom. Any suggestions?
I already got her a necklace in the shape of a star (stars are one of her favorite things), that is fashioned out of his birthstone. I wanted to give it to her from me, but I guess I'll give it to her from the baby. I guess that means I've got to get her somethin else from me...

Answer
A mother's ring. Any piece of jewelery with his birth stone on it, I'm sure she would appreciate.

ETA:
Yeah, switch the necklace to from your son, and get a spa gift certificate like the person below me suggested. Your still going to get good husband points for the necklace, it'll just be super cute from the baby. If you have an Elizabeth Grady in your area, they're really nice day spas, and have good prices. She'll enjoy some pampering.

What can I put in a baby basket for a baby shower?

I want to get my cousin a good gift for her baby shower. Yea she has a registry, but I don't want to get her something that she is not going to be surprised at. So what are some of the best gifts other mothers have gotten for their baby showers? Any ideas of what I could do?

Answer
If she is a first time mom give her practical things. She will probably get lots of tiny clothes, so if you want to go in that direction get her something size 12 months or bigger because she will get less big sizes and those clothes will last longer.
I looooved my Bumbo chair for both my kids. Totally awesome!! It helps babies as young as 3 months sit up.
Another option is to get an infant bathtub and fill it will all sorts of cute washcloths, towels, lotions, babywash, bath toys, etc.
You can also give her a spa gift certificate so she can get a pedicure or prenatal massage. I got one of each when I was pregnant and it was an awesome unexpected treat.
