What should I get for the baby shower hostess?

I moved here and don't know anyone very well, and someone I have only met twice offered to host my baby shower. She is also pregnant and due 2 weeks before me.

I'd like to get her something for hosting but she won't answer that part of my emails when I ask what she needs. I don't think she wants me to feel obligated.

What should I get for her?

Gift cards are always nice but you can also pay her back with hand made certificates that will probably be VERY much appreciated. Stuff like:

Will come by and babysit, do laundry, cook, etc so she can nap

What are good games to play at a baby Shower?

My baby shower is next week and the hostess wanted to know which games I would like her to have. I don't have any ideas! Do you?

1. Baby Bingo. (Everyone fills out a bingo sheet with gifts they think you will get. As you're unwrapping gifts, they mark it off their sheet if they guessed correctly. First one to have a whole line of gifts checked off wins.)

2. Put a special gift in the center of each table. The person whose real b-day is closest to the baby's due date wins the gift.

3. Purse games. I.e., whoever has the most lipsticks in their purse wins. Whoever has the heaviest purse wins. Whoever has a specific collection of items (such as a stick of gum, hair accessory and a coupon) wins. Etc.
