STRESSED s
I love animals. Is their any scripture that deals with the "love" of animals and not just the sacrifice of them?
Answer
"In view of Godâs granting perfect man dominion over the various creatures of the earth, it was most appropriate that Adam be privileged to name these creatures. (Ge 1:26; 2:19, 20)
"Manâs having the animals in subjection placed upon him *a stewardship for which he would always be accountable* to God.âLu 12:48." ("Insight on the Scriptures", by WB&TS)
Concerned about the welfare of draft animals, God told the Israelites:
âYou *must not* plow with a bull and an ass together.â ---Deuteronomy 22:10) . . . The yoke linking them togetherâdesigned for 2 animals of similar size and strengthâwould make both beasts suffer.
â...Who of You, if his son or bull falls into a well, will not *immediately* pull him out on the sabbath day?â ---Luke 14:5
"Observe intently the birds of heaven, because they do not sow seed or reap or gather into storehouses; still Your heavenly Father feeds them." ---Matthew 6:26
"Mark well that the ravens neither sow seed nor reap, and they have neither barn nor storehouse, and yet God feeds them..."---Luke 12:24
Those Scriptures indicate that God wants all of his creation treated with respect, & their needs provided for. Jesus called attention to the fact that it is important to aid someone --even an animal-- in need, because the pious Jewish religious leaders were prone to refuse such help, citing the law about no work being allowed on the Sabbath. But, this still indicates that God desires that animals should be given appropriate attention, even if it might *seem* to be in conflict with one of his own laws to some people {which it wasn't).
If you love animals ass much as you say, you will likely enjoy reading the following Bible-based articles, as much as I have:

What are good, short quotes to put on my ribs?
Bailey_Cel
I'm getting ready to have a baby in August and after he is born I plan on getting a tattoo on my ribs that is written in scripture typer writing. I also want to put his name (Hayden Kelly) underneath the quote and the date he is born. The only problem is that I am having trouble finding the perfect quote that really speaks to me. Any ideas?
