What sweet sentimental quote should i put on my moms christmas gift?

dropbeatsn

the quote should be sweet and sentimental. and it should be about cooking. i am making her a recipe book with old family recipes and some new ones too. thanks for the help!

Answer
this doesn't have anything to do with cooking, but the poem is sweet:

Dear Lord, it's such a hectic day
With little time to stop and pray
For life's been anything but calm
Since You called on me to be a mom
Running errands, matching socks
Building dreams with building blocks
Cooking, cleaning, and finding shoes
And other stuff that children lose
Getting lids on bottled bugs
Wiping tears and giving hugs
A stack of last week's mail to read
So where's the quiet time I need?
Yet when I steal a minute, Lord
Just at the sink or ironing board
To ask the blessings of Your grace
I've seen then, in my small one's face
That you have blessed me
All the while
And I stop to kiss
That precious smile

"Cooking is at once child's play and adult joy. And cooking done with care is an act of love."

Christmas gifts for parents?

I'm 14, and running low on cash but I need ideas on what to get my family, theysay they don't want anything but I want to get them something. Mom and Dad both say they'll be fine with whatever they get so I'm cluless...

Answer
Parents love sentimental gifts, especially Mothers. Go to the drugstore and buy a cheap snow globe(they are about $6) then print out a picture while you are there (about 30 cents) and put it in the snow globe. My daughter did that for her Grandmother last year and she loved it. For you Dad get him something that he's into. If he likes sports then get him a shirt with his favorite team or player on it. or get him a coffee mug with a funny saying on it.
