I've already started my Christmas shopping for my family members. I like to get it out of the way so I'm not rushing around doing last minute decision making, which can end horribly. My mom is very hard to buy for sometimes, and I try to be thoughtful with any gift I purchase. While sentimental gifts are nice, I much prefer ones that are practical; something I know she'll use.
Let me tell you a bit about her. She is very much a tomboy: no makeup, lavish jewelry, dresses, etc. On the other hand, she LOVES working outdoors, getting her hands greasy under the hood of a vehicle, and keeping up with the latest gadgets, although she is not a gadget nerd.
So, fellow Answerers, what's some good gift ideas? I'm sort of all over the place at the moment, and I need some fresh inspiration. Thanks!

I'm fifteen. Which means, I have zero dollars. My Mom's birthday is in like two days! I don't have idea's or cash. My Dad doesn't live with us, so no help from him. So, I need creative idea's that I can make with things around the house. We have just about everything to make stuff. So, get to thinking, be creative and help me. Thank you(:
