gifts for mom $30..$50 image

I'm asking for two reasons.....so I'm 15 and I am confused how much I should ask for and how much I should spend for other people. I was gonna get my mom dad and brother and dog (lol) each a gift. Around how much should I spend for each person? I know....I shouldn't worry as much about the price as I should the thought I put into the gift. But I really don't have a clue as to how much people spend on gifts! Or Doyou have a good idea of gifts i could make them for little money? Idk what I could make my 13 year old brother that he would like...I can't really make video games from scratch:)
Also, I'm not sure how much I should ask for. My parents ask us for Christmas lists around the beginning of December because they have no idea what we want. I was planning on asking for the following:
1. EITHER a jack wills hoodie ($89) OR lululemon scuba jacket (~$80-90) (I kinda need jackets so maybe they'll get both but I don't expect both or really any for that matter)
2. Pink sugar perfume from nordstroms (ranges from $30-50)
3. Nice pair of leather boots (havnt found an exact pair yet but they're around $60-100+ probably)
4. MAYBE One direction shirt from website with up all night album cover on it:):):) (around $20-30)
5. underwear:)
So is that too much to ask for? There are some other things I was thinking of asking for , like belts that fit and more jackets because I'm freezing here in my short sleeves shirts haha... But those are the things I realt wanted. Is that too much?
Answer
My parents always buy me one major gift, one year we went to disneyworld, another year I got a Wii, last year I got an iPod touch, this year I'm asking for a Galaxy S III, of course I get other presents along with that major gift. But what you've asked for seems perfectly normal for a teenage girl. Things you could do is: buy your brother a gift(if you can't think of something to make him) and make something for your parents, they prefer sentimental gifts that are handmade, trust me. I've had past experience. It's fairly easy to make stuff for them, because no matter what it is they'll live it. Possibly even put it to good use, you could go to a craft store and get some fabric and, if you have a sewing machine, see it into an apron for your mother. Another thing, most craft stores have this stuff called polymer clay, you shape it like clay, paint it, attach an eyepin(google it if you don't know what it is) and bake it. Then you paint it and attach it to a necklace, they're really cute and fun to make. Try that. Search on YouTube for tutorials. As for your father, I'd say get him something he will use for a long time. Tool set if he's into that stuff, new boots(unless they're too costly), or something along those lines. I think it's hard shopping for boys because I'm a girl. Find out what he likes. Finally, your dog won't care what you get him. Anything he can chew on.

How quickly will ipod touch 4g sell out on black friday at target?
Q. Oh, and all I have heard about black friday are bad things. Should a fifteen year old go with her mom? How long will 8gb ipod touch supplies last at target? Should we go in the morning or later tonight? I have heard people have died. I'm kinda scared. Some reassuring words would also be helpful. Thanks in advance.
Answer
A fifteen year old should definitely go with her mom, as it is the busiest few hours of the year. (I went to Wal-mart around 10PM, and it was pandemonium. I left within 20 minutes.) Electronics are especially popular. Target's Black Friday sale started at Midnight. With sales starting earlier and earlier each year (instead of the middle of the night), more people will venture out to the sale. I'm sure this item is gone within the first 5 minutes of the sale.
If you're really interested in getting any Black Friday items, you need to be at the store (in the appropriate department) at least an hour before, if not several hours before hand. [Depending on the item] Best Buy has individuals camping out a few nights in advance. It all depends on how much your time is worth to you.
BTW, Amazon had a Black Friday 'Lightning Deal' on the iPod Touch 8GB at Midnight -- and only from the 'Lightning Deal' page.
I added it to my cart as soon as the sale started, but within ONE MINUTE, all items were sold and I didn't get it. :(
Why? The price was $145(!), which is the best I've seen it anywhere. Even better than the offers Best Buy, Radio Shack, Target, and Toys R Us were offering -- around $190-$199, plus $30-$50 gift cards.
Perhaps your best bet is to visit Apple's site and see what offer they'll make. One site implied the price would be $178, but I can't figure out what time their Black Friday sales starts.
Apple's Black Friday page is currently down -- if you want one you'll need to keep refreshing the page. Hopefully it starts soon, instead of at 5AM-8AM.

In any event, there's always 'Cyber Monday'. Besides, the current iPod Touch is over a year old. Even if you don't get it, the next generation (hopefully) will be much better, since Apple didn't upgrade the hardware in October.
Yet, for $145 I think I could have lived with it.
